After more than 30 years the Internet is showing its age.  Legacy addressing and routing protocols are straining under coninued growth.  New approaches such as IPv6 haven't caught on or overcome their own architectural challenges.  Meanwhile carrier consolidation, 'net neutrality, and the rise of mobile services are fundamentaly altering the business model for Internet service providers.  Facing these challenges won't be easy, but ensuring that the Internet remains as a public, open network supporting business and innovation is critical.  During this keynote address Nemertes President and Senior Founding Partner Johna Till Johnson will highlight the challenges facing the Internet architecture and discuss opportunities for "Rethinking the Internet".
