This session will discuss some key technology trends that are impacting enterprise customer networks today including explosive growth in bandwidth needs, end devices, and applications. We'll discuss some of the key building blocks needed in next generation networks to meet this demand. A best effort Internet is not sufficient. The network needs to scale effectively, with a reliable core, and with flexible and high speed access. To truly support an "Internet of Everything", IPv6 will play a critical role, yet adoption has been extremely low. Lastly, IT resources will move to the cloud, allowing for more cost effective and lower risk deployment of applications.
