The Internet grew out of a consensus-driven model that was highly experimental and depended on altruism. The Internet today is a business, still dependent on people doing what is needed because it is the best solution, but also very much based in business principles. How did it get from A to B, what is C, and how will we get there? The former chairman of the Internet Engineering Task Force will detail how Internet governance has evolved over the years, and discuss where it's headed.
