Doug Junkins is the Vice President of IP Development for NTT America’s Global IP Network business unit and is responsible for network architecture, tool development and peering relations for NTT Communications’ Global IP Network. Previously, Mr. Junkins was the Vice President of IP Engineering for Verio in Englewood, Colorado, USA where he was responsible for building Verio’s U.S. backbone network and integrating the engineering and operations of 54 individual ISPs acquired by Verio. Prior to Verio, Mr. Junkins was a Senior Network Engineer for NorthWestNet in Seattle, Washington, USA, responsible for the network engineering of their regional IP network. Mr. Junkins has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Colorado - Colorado Springs, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington.
