Nick has worked for Verizon/MCI for 18 years in a variety of engineering and architecture roles. Nick's responsibilities have included Digitial Cross Connect (DXC) Engineering and Test, CPE Test & Certification, Multimedia Engineering Architecture & Design, Network Access & Advanced Technology, Backbone Network Technology, IP Network Architecture & Design and Ethernet Network Architecture & Design. Nick has expertise in TDM, Frame Relay, ATM, Ethernet, IP, MPLS, Pseudowires, PBB, Audio Video & Image Compression and Audio/Video production and distribution. Nick is currently a Principal Member of Technical Staff (a Director level position) within Verizon's Ethernet Architecture and Design group where he leads the architecture development for Verizon's Switched Ethernet Service network.
